1. Start document sharing
Entry: Open a document → Share
- Open the document you want to collaborate on in WPS Office on your iPhone.
- Tap the sharing option in the document interface.
- Generate a sharing link for the document.
- Send the link to the people who need to collaborate.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can see a generated sharing link or a sharing panel.
- Next action available: You can continue to set permissions or send the link to collaborators.
Tips While Using
- Sharing and collaboration require an internet connection.
- It is recommended to confirm that the document is saved before sending the link.
2. Set view or edit permissions
Entry: Sharing panel → Permission settings
- Open the sharing panel for the document.
- Find the collaboration permission settings.
- Select View or Edit based on your needs.
- Save the setting and continue sharing.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The permission option switches to the target state.
- Next action available: Collaborators who receive the link can access the document with the selected permission.
Tips While Using
- Before sharing externally, confirm whether others should be allowed to modify the main content directly.
3. Invite others to co-edit
Entry: Sharing panel → Send link
- Open the document that already has a sharing link.
- Choose a sending method and send the link to collaborators.
- Let collaborators open the link and enter the document page.
- Collaborators can view or edit the document based on the assigned permission.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Collaborators can enter the same document.
- Next action available: Multiple people can continue viewing or editing the content.
Tips While Using
- If collaborators can only view the file, check the permission setting again.
4. View everyone’s edit history
Entry: Collaborative document → Clock-like button → Workspace
- Open the document that is being collaborated on.
- Tap the clock-like button next to the avatar.
- Tap Workspace.
- Review the detailed change records and timestamps.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can see edit records from different points in time.
- Next action available: You can decide whether to restore a specific version.
Tips While Using
- Viewing history depends on the document being saved to the cloud in real time during collaboration.
5. Roll back to an earlier version
Entry: Edit history → Target version → Roll back this version
- Open the edit history page for the document.
- Browse the available historical versions and timestamps.
- Select the version you want to restore.
- Tap Roll back this version to complete the rollback.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The document content returns to the selected historical version.
- Next action available: You can continue editing from the restored version.
Tips While Using
- Before rolling back, confirm whether the current version contains newer content that still needs to be kept.
