1. Add Speaker Notes

Entry point: Normal View → Notes area at the bottom

  1. In Normal View, double-tap the Notes area below the slide.
  2. Enter the speaker note content in the text box that appears.
  3. Tap Done to save the note.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The note content for the current slide is saved in the Notes area.
  • Next actions: You can switch to another slide to continue adding notes, or start playback to review the result.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the Notes area is not selected first, your input will not go into the note text box.
  • Environment limits: You need to open a presentation and stay in Normal View first.

2. Show or Hide All Notes

Entry point: Insert → Notes; or Tools → View → Show All Notes

  1. Tap a blank area of the slide.
  2. To switch from the Insert entry, tap Insert on the bottom toolbar, then tap Notes.
  3. To switch from the View entry, tap Tools on the bottom toolbar, switch to the View tab, and turn Show All Notes on or off.
  4. Confirm that the Notes area is shown or hidden based on the current setting.

Entry point: Playback mode → Presenter View → Notes area

  2. Enter Presenter View.
  3. Check the Notes area to view the speaking prompt for the current slide.

  • UI state: The current slide's note content is visible in Presenter View.
  • Next actions: You can move through slides while reviewing the matching notes for each page.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If you do not enter Presenter View, you cannot review notes in this way.
