1. Manual Slide Show

Entry: Slide Show tab → Presentation Settings → Manual Slide Show

  1. Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the window.
  2. Click the Presentation Settings drop-down button.
  3. Select Manual Slide Show.
  4. Start the slide show and advance slides by mouse click or key press.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The slide show advances only when you operate it manually.
  • Next action available: You can continue to the next slide or return to the previous slide.

  • Common mistake: Clicking the page before entering slide show mode does not advance slides.

2. Automatic Slide Show

Entry: Slide Show tab → Presentation Settings → Automatic Slide Show

  1. Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the window.
  2. Click the Presentation Settings drop-down button.
  3. Select Automatic Slide Show.
  4. Run the presentation and let slides advance according to rehearsal timings.

3. Presentation Settings

Entry: Slide Show tab → Presentation Settings → Presentation Settings

  1. Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the window.
  2. Click the Presentation Settings drop-down button.
  3. Select Presentation Settings.
  4. In the Set Up Show dialog box, choose a show type: Presented by a speaker (full screen), Browsed at a kiosk (full screen), or Browsed by an individual (window).
  5. Set the slide range as All, From... To..., or Custom Show.
  6. Configure show options such as Loop continuously until Esc, Pen color, and Show without animation.
  7. Set the slide advancement method as Manual or Using timings, if present.
  8. If multiple displays are connected, choose the slide show monitor and enable presenter view.
  9. Click OK to apply the settings.
