How-to Guide
1. Open Custom Slideshow
Feature entry: Slide Show tab → Custom Slideshow
- Open the WPS Presentation file you want to present.
- Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click Custom Slideshow.
- In the dialog box, view and manage existing custom slideshows.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Custom Slideshow dialog box opens.
- Next action available: You can create, edit, delete, or play a custom slideshow.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Open the presentation file first, then go to the Slide Show tab to find the feature entry.
2. Create a Custom Slideshow
Feature entry: Slide Show tab → Custom Slideshow → New
- In the Custom Slideshow dialog box, click New.
- Enter a name for the custom slideshow.
- In the slide list on the left, select the slides you want to present.
- Click Add to move the selected slides to the list on the right.
- Use the up and down buttons to adjust the slide order.
- If you want to remove a slide from the slideshow list, select it and click Delete.
- Click OK to save the custom slideshow.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The new custom slideshow appears in the list.
- Next action available: You can continue to edit, delete, or play it.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Delete in this dialog removes the slide from the slideshow list only and does not delete the original slide.
3. Edit or Delete a Custom Slideshow
Feature entry: Slide Show tab → Custom Slideshow
- Open the Custom Slideshow dialog box.
- Select the custom slideshow you want to manage.
- Click Edit to change its content, or click Delete to remove that custom slideshow.
- Save the changes after editing.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected custom slideshow is updated or removed from the list.
- Next action available: You can continue managing other custom slideshows.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Deleting a custom slideshow removes the slideshow plan only and does not change the original slide order in the presentation.
4. Play a Custom Slideshow
Feature entry: Slide Show tab → Custom Slideshow
- Open the Custom Slideshow dialog box.
- Select the custom slideshow you want to play.
- Click Show.
- Present the slides in the order you set.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The presentation starts in the custom order.
- Next action available: You can exit and switch to another custom slideshow if needed.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Make sure the correct slideshow is selected before you click Show.
