1. Add Other Controls

Entry point: Developer Tools → Other Controls

  1. Click the Developer Tools tab at the top of the window.
  2. Select Other Controls.
  3. In the dialog box, choose the control you want to insert.
  4. Drag on the slide to draw the control size and complete the insertion.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: An inserted control area appears on the slide.
  • Next actions: You can continue adjusting the control position and size or keep editing the presentation.

2. Register Custom Controls

Entry point: Developer Tools → Other Controls → Register Custom Controls

  2. Select Other Controls.
  3. In the dialog box, scroll to the bottom and select Register Custom Controls.
  4. In the pop-up window, choose the control path and manually add the custom control.

  • UI state: After registration, the custom control can appear in the control list for selection.
