1. Split text by delimiter

Feature path: Tools → Data → Split Columns

1. Select the cell or range that you want to split.
2. Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen and open the Data tab.
3. Tap Split Columns.
4. Select a delimiter type: comma, space, semicolon, or plus sign.
5. Review the result. The split data is generated in the columns to the right of the original cell or range.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: the original text is split into multiple columns based on the selected delimiter.
• Next action available: you can continue editing, filtering, or saving the split columns.
• No unwanted impact: the result is written into the blank columns on the right of the selected area.
