1. Remove Duplicates
Entry path: Tools → Data → Highlight/Remove Duplicates → Remove Duplicates
- Open the spreadsheet where you want to remove duplicate data.
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the Data tab.
- Tap Highlight/Remove Duplicates.
- Tap Remove Duplicates.
- Wait while WPS detects and removes duplicate items in the worksheet.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: repeated data is processed and the number of duplicate rows is reduced.
- What you can do next: continue editing, save the file, or undo the action.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: removing duplicates before checking the data range may affect original records.

2. Highlight Duplicates
Entry path: Tools → Data → Highlight/Remove Duplicates → Highlight Duplicates
- Open the spreadsheet where you want to check duplicate data.
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the Data tab.
- Tap Highlight/Remove Duplicates.
- Choose a color in Highlight Duplicates.
- Wait while WPS detects duplicate items and fills them with the selected color.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: duplicate cells or related content appear in the selected highlight color.
- What you can do next: review the marked data and decide whether to remove duplicates later.
