1. Set Data Validation

Entry: Tools → Data → Data Validation

1. Select the cell or range where you want to add data validation.
2. Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen, then open the Data tab.
3. Tap Data Validation.
4. Choose a rule type from the menu, including Any Value, Integer, Decimal, List, Date, Time, or Text Length.
5. Set the specific condition for the selected rule type.
6. Tap OK to apply the data validation rule to the current cell or range.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: When you open Data Validation again, the selected area shows the applied rule.

2. Clear Data Validation

Entry: Tools → Data → Data Validation

3. Tap Data Validation.
4. Change the validation type to Any Value.
5. Confirm the setting to finish clearing the rule.
