1. Open add-in management

Feature entry: Developer Tools → Add-ins

  1. Open WPS Spreadsheet and go to the workbook where you want to use add-ins.
  2. Click the Developer Tools tab in the top ribbon.
  3. Click Add-ins.
  4. In the pop-up add-in management window, review the list of installed add-ins.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The add-in management window opens and shows the current add-in list.
  • Next action available: You can continue to enable, disable, or add add-ins.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you cannot see Developer Tools, enable that tab in the ribbon settings first.
  • Environment note: This action must be performed inside WPS Spreadsheet.

2. Enable or disable an add-in

Feature entry: Developer Tools → Add-ins

  1. Open the add-in management window by following the previous steps.
  2. Find the target add-in in the list.
  3. Select the checkbox to enable it, or clear the checkbox to disable it.
  4. Close the window and continue working in the spreadsheet to confirm the expected status.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The checkbox status of the target add-in has changed.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing the spreadsheet or adjust other add-ins.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you only review the list without changing the checkbox, the add-in status will not change.
  • Environment note: Some add-ins may be easier to verify after reopening the related view or workflow.

3. Add a new add-in

Feature entry: Developer Tools → Add-ins

  1. Open the add-in management window.
  2. Click Browse.
  3. In the file system, select the add-in file that you want to add.
  4. Click Open to finish adding it.
  5. Confirm that the new add-in appears in the list, then enable it if needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new add-in appears in the add-in list.
  • Next action available: You can enable it immediately or leave it disabled for later use.
