1. Extract a Single Image
Entry point: Picture Edit tab → Extract Image
- Open the PDF file that you want to work with.
- Click the image that you want to extract so it is selected.
- Click the Picture Edit tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Extract Image on the toolbar.
- Choose a save location in the dialog box.
- Click Save to finish.
Success Criteria
- UI state: A save location dialog appears and the image is exported.
- Next actions: You can open the local folder and view the saved image file.
- No side effects: The image remains in the original PDF.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If no image is selected first, Extract Image may not be available.
- Membership: This feature requires membership to edit PDF files.
2. Extract Multiple Images
Entry point: Picture Edit tab → Extract Image
- Open the PDF file that you want to work with.
- Hold Ctrl and click multiple images one by one to select them.
- Click Extract Image.
- Choose a save location.
- After the export is complete, each image is saved as a separate file in the target folder.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The selected images are exported in batch to the chosen location.
- Next actions: You can open the target folder and view the separately saved image files.
- No side effects: The original images in the PDF remain unchanged.
