Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The email enters a scheduled state for the selected time.
  • What you can do next: You can still open the draft before sending to review or adjust it.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Clicking Send directly sends the email immediately instead of opening the scheduling menu.
  • Environment note: Keep the email account status normal while setting and waiting for scheduled delivery.

2. Change a Scheduled Time

Entry path: Scheduled email in Drafts → reset the send time

  1. Before the scheduled time arrives, open the Drafts folder.
  2. Find the email that already has scheduled sending enabled and open it.
  3. Open the send time setting entry again.

Success Criteria

  • What you can do next: The email remains pending until the new scheduled time arrives.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the original scheduled time has already passed, the email may already be sent and can no longer be changed.
  • Environment note: Confirm that the email is still in the draft workflow before editing the time.

3. Cancel Scheduled Sending

Entry path: Scheduled email in Drafts → cancel scheduled sending

  1. Before the scheduled time arrives, open the Drafts folder.
  2. Find the email with scheduled sending and open it.
  3. Cancel the current scheduled sending setting.
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The email will no longer be sent automatically at the original scheduled time.
  • What you can do next: The email stays as a draft and can be edited or scheduled again.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: After canceling, the email will not send automatically unless you schedule it again or send it manually.
  • Environment note: Complete the cancellation before the planned send time arrives.
