  2. Enter or paste the English text you want to review in the message body.
  3. Click Spelling Check in the message editor toolbar.
  4. Wait for the system to scan the English text for spelling issues.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The compose window stays open and marked words appear in the message body.
  • Next action available: You can click marked words to view suggestions or continue editing.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in the compose window, the Spelling Check entry may not be visible.
  • Environment note: This workflow is used for English spelling review.

2. View marked words

Entry path: Compose window → marked words in the message body

  1. After the spelling check finishes, look for words marked in the English message body.
  2. Move the pointer to the marked area to confirm the word location.
  3. Click the marked word to open the related correction suggestions.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Suspected spelling issues are shown with visible marks.
  • Next action available: You can open and review candidate corrections.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the message body has no English text or no spelling issues, no marks may appear.
  • Environment note: Suggestions are for proofreading reference, and you can still keep the original wording if needed.

3. Apply correction suggestions

Entry path: Marked word → suggestion list

  1. Click a marked word in the message body.
  2. Review the suggested spellings in the pop-up list.
  3. Select the correction you want to apply to the text.
  4. If no change is needed, keep the original wording and continue checking other marked words.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected suggestion replaces the original misspelled word and the message body updates.
  • Next action available: You can continue with the next marked word or send the email.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not click the marked word first, the suggestion list will not open.
  • Environment note: Suggestions help with proofreading, and a final read-through before sending is still useful.
