  1. Strikethrough is only a text-formatting effect and does not delete the text itself.

  3. If you want to remove the content completely, use Delete or Cut.

How to keep strikethrough formatting when copying text?

  1. Strikethrough formatting usually stays with the text when you copy and paste it.
  2. Paste the content into an editor that supports rich text and check whether the line is still visible.
