| No. | Topic | Membership Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1. Turn on Revision mode | Free |

How-to Guide
1. Turn on Revision mode
Entry: Review tab → Revision
- Open the text document you want to review.
- Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
- Click Revision to turn revision mode on.
- Continue editing the document. Inserted, deleted, and modified content will be recorded.
- When you want to stop recording edits, click Revision again to turn it off.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The document enters revision tracking status, and later edits show revision marks.
- What you can do next: You can keep editing text and review the recorded changes later.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you start editing before turning Revision on, those earlier edits will not be added as tracked revisions afterward.
- Environment note: In collaboration scenarios, collaborators can view the revision marks.
2. Accept or reject revisions
Entry: Select a revision → Review tab → Accept or Reject
- Locate the revision you want to process in the document.
- Select the target revision.
- Click Accept or Reject on the Review tab.
- If you need to process multiple revisions in sequence, use the revision dialog to move to the previous or next revision.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected revision changes from pending review to the accepted or rejected result.
- What you can do next: You can continue with the next revision or save the document.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the target revision is not selected first, the action may not apply to the expected change.
- Environment note: Before finalizing a document, it is helpful to check whether all revisions have been processed.
3. Use Revision Settings
Entry: Review tab → Revision Settings
- Make sure the document already contains revision content.
- Click Revision Settings on the Review tab.
- Under Accept Revisions, choose Accept All Revisions or Accept All Formatting Revisions.
- Under Reject Revisions, choose Reject All Revisions or Reject All Formatting Revisions.
- Under Revision Status, you can sync the view to collaborators and switch to display states such as Final Status or Original Status.
- Under Revision Balloons, you can show revisions in balloons or show all revisions inline.
- Under Revision Filter, you can filter revisions by Revision Time, Reviewer, or Revision Type.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected display mode, processing result, or filter condition takes effect.
- What you can do next: You can review filtered revisions, process revisions in bulk, or switch display states.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the document has no revision content yet, some processing options will not show an obvious effect.
- Environment note: Collaboration-related actions such as syncing to collaborators work more smoothly with network access.
