1. Turn On Revision

Entry path: Tools → Review → Start Revision

1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
2. Select the Review tab.
3. Turn on Start Revision.
4. Continue editing the document. Later changes will be recorded as revisions.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: the Start Revision switch is on.
• What you can do next: later insertions, deletions, or adjustments are recorded as tracked changes.

Tips While Using

• After Revision is turned on, later edits continue to be recorded, so it is helpful to confirm whether you want to keep edit history before formal review starts.

2. Show Revision

Entry path: Tools → Review → Show Revision

1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
2. Select the Review tab.
3. Turn on Show Revision.
4. Tap revised content in the document to view details in the pop-up window.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: tracked changes are visible in the document.
• What you can do next: you can tap a revision to view its details.

Tips While Using

• If the document already contains many edits, turn on Show Revision first so you can locate changes more quickly.

3. View Revision in Classic Mode

Entry path: Tools → Review → View Comments and Revisions in Classic Mode

1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
2. Select the Review tab.
3. Turn on View Comments and Revisions in Classic Mode.
4. Review revision content in the display window that appears on the right side of the editing area.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: a revision display window appears on the right side of the editing area.
• What you can do next: you can review revision information in a concentrated side area.

Tips While Using

• When a document contains many revisions, classic mode is more convenient for concentrated review than tapping each change in the body text.

4. Turn Off Revision

Entry path: Tools → Review → Start Revision

1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
2. Select the Review tab.
3. Turn off Start Revision.
4. Continue editing the document, and new content will no longer be recorded as revisions.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: the Start Revision switch is off.
• What you can do next: later edits no longer create new revision records.

Tips While Using

• Turning Revision off only stops new changes from being recorded. Existing revision marks remain in the document.
• If you need to handle many revisions in more detail, continue the review on a PC.
