1. Insert Rich Text Content Control

Feature entry: Developer → Rich Text Content Control

  1. Open WPS Writer and open the target document.
  2. Make sure Design Mode is already enabled.
  3. Place the cursor where you want to insert the control.
  4. Click Rich Text Content Control.
  5. After the control appears in the document, continue typing or move on to property setup.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: An editable rich text content control area appears in the document.
  • Next action available: You can select the control and continue setting properties or entering content.

  • Common mistake: If the cursor is not placed first, the control may be inserted in an unexpected location.

2. Set Control Properties
