When using Transfer Records, 3 common question types appear most often: finding the entry, handling failures, and reviewing records. This FAQ includes 3 common answers.
FAQ
What should I do if I cannot find the Transfer Records entry?
- Open the WPS Office home page and check whether the Transfer Records button appears at the top right.
- If you are not using the home page entry, check whether the WPS Cloud icon appears in the lower-right area of the Windows taskbar.
- If the icon is hidden, expand the hidden icons area and look again.
- After opening it from either entry, you will enter the same transfer assistant window.
How do I continue uploading after a file name conflict?
- In the transfer assistant, find the record that shows a file name conflict.
- Resolve the duplicate file issue in the cloud first.
- Click the More button next to that record.
- Run the upload or retry action again and watch whether the status returns to normal.
Is there any difference between the two entry points?
- Open the transfer assistant from the Windows taskbar entry and from the WPS Office home page entry.
- Review the transfer records shown in the window.
- Both entry points open the same transfer assistant window and show the same transfer records.
