1. View navigation entries
Entry path: WPS Home screen → Left Navigation Bar
- Open WPS Office for Mac and go to the Home screen.
- Look at the app shortcut icons shown in the left Navigation Bar.
- Confirm that the visible entries include Home, WPS AI, Writer, Presentation, Spreadsheet, PDF, and AI Slides.
- Click any icon to switch to the related module or enter the related document creation or opening flow.
- If you want to confirm what an icon means, hover over it to view its label.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Navigation Bar icons are visible on the left side of the Home screen.
- Next action available: You can open the related module or document type from an icon.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you are not on the WPS Home screen, you may not see this Navigation Bar area.

2. Hide or restore labels
Entry path: WPS Home screen → Blank area in the Navigation Bar → Right-click menu
- Open the WPS Home screen and locate the left Navigation Bar.
- Right-click a blank area in the Navigation Bar.
- In the menu that appears, click Hide Labels.
- After it is enabled, the Navigation Bar shows icons without text labels.
- To restore labels, right-click the blank area again and clear the same option.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Navigation Bar can switch between icon-and-label view and icon-only view.
- Next action available: After labels are hidden, you can still click icons to open the related feature.
Tips While Using
