1. Turn on the local save restriction
Entry path: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → Prevent Clients from Saving Documents Locally in WPS365
- Open the WPS365 client and click Admin Console in the lower-left corner of the home page.
- In the left navigation pane of the enterprise admin console, click Security Control.
- Click Document Security in the expanded list.
- Click Prevent Clients from Saving Documents Locally in WPS365 to open the security policy list.
- Find Prevent WPS Clients from Saving Documents Locally and switch it to On.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The policy switch shows On.
- Next action available: You can continue to configure member scope and the whitelist.

2. Set the controlled member scope
Entry path: Admin Console → Security Control → Document Security → Prevent Clients from Saving Documents Locally in WPS365
- Open the Prevent WPS Clients from Saving Documents Locally policy page.
- In the member scope area, choose All Members or Selected Members.
- If you choose Selected Members, add the members that should be controlled.
- Save the settings and wait for the policy to take effect.

- Save the settings and confirm the updated list.
