How-to Index

How-to Guide

1. Create a table view

Entry: Data table → "+" icon → Table View

  1. Open the multi-dimensional table.
  2. Click the "+" icon on the right side of the data table.
  3. Select Table View.
  4. Enter the table editing workspace.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new table view appears for the current data table.
  • What you can do next: You can start entering or editing data in the grid.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you cannot find the "+" icon, first confirm that you are already inside the multi-dimensional table page.
  • Environment note: You need editing permission for the current data table to continue entering records.

2. Enter data in Table View

Entry: The row-and-column editing area inside Table View

  1. Open an existing table view.
  2. Click the target cell in the correct row and column.
  3. Enter the required content.
  4. Continue filling in other records as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The entered content appears in the selected record and field.
  • What you can do next: You can continue adding, editing, or reviewing other cells.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Check the field name before typing so content is not entered into the wrong column.
  • Environment note: In collaborative work, updates can sync to the cloud and to other collaborators.

3. Show or hide fields

Entry: Field management controls

  1. Open the field management entry in Table View.
  2. Review the current field visibility list.
  3. Turn off visibility for fields you want to hide, or turn visibility back on for hidden fields.
  4. Return to the table view and confirm the result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target field is shown or hidden in the current view.
  • What you can do next: You can continue reviewing and editing data with the updated field layout.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Hiding a field does not delete it. It only changes what the current view displays.
  • Environment note: If the field does not exist in the current data table, it cannot be shown again from field management.

4. Freeze columns for key fields

Entry: Right-click a target column → Freeze to this column

  1. Find the column that should stay visible.
  2. Right-click the target column.
  3. Select Freeze to this column.
  4. Scroll horizontally to check the result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target column and the columns to its left stay fixed.
  • What you can do next: You can review other columns while keeping key fields visible.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Freezing too many columns reduces the remaining visible area, so it is better to keep only key columns fixed.
  • Environment note: Freezing improves wide-table viewing and does not change the original data.
