Last updated:July 24, 2026

When using WPS View Permissions on iOS, the most common questions fall into 3 areas: finding the entry, understanding the visibility scope, and confirming the saved result; this section includes 3 frequently asked questions.

FAQ

Why can’t I find the View Permissions entry on iOS?

  1. Make sure you opened a multidimensional table instead of a standard document, spreadsheet, or PDF.
  2. Switch to the target view first, then tap the Tools tab in the lower-right corner.
  3. Look for View Permissions in the tools menu. If it still does not appear, update WPS Office and try again.

Does Visible only to me in this view affect other views?

  1. No. View Permissions is configured separately for each view.
  2. Switch to the exact view you want to edit before opening View Permissions.
  3. If you need to change another view, return to the view list and configure that view separately.

Why do I need to tap a blank area after changing the setting?

  1. After you choose a permission option, tapping a blank area closes the settings panel.
  2. Leaving the panel saves the current selection.
  3. You can open View Permissions again to confirm that the updated state is shown.
