Last updated:July 23, 2026

When using View Permissions, the most common questions are about scope, saving behavior, and differences between visibility options; this section includes 3 frequent questions and a glossary.

FAQ

Why does this change only affect the current view instead of the whole table?

  1. View Permissions applies to the currently selected view.
  2. Switch to the target view first from the View List at the lower left.
  3. Then open View Permissions and configure that specific view.

Why is there no separate Save button after I change the setting?

  1. After you choose a visibility option, you do not need to look for an extra Save button.
  2. Tap any blank area to exit the panel.
  3. The current selection is saved as the permission setting for that view.

What is the difference between visible to everyone and visible only to yourself?

  1. Visible to everyone in this view means the view can be seen by other relevant collaborators.
  2. Visible only to yourself in this view means the view is shown only to you.
  3. Before choosing, confirm whether the view contains personal-only or sensitive information.
