1. Lock a view from the view menu

Entry: Left-side view list → ... next to the target view → Lock View

1. Open the target multidimensional table.
2. In the left-side table area, find the table and view that you want to protect.
3. Click the ... button next to the target view.
4. In the pop-up menu, turn on the Lock View toggle.
5. When the toggle is on, the current view enters the locked state.
6. Check the lock indicator next to the view name to confirm that the setting has taken effect.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: A lock indicator appears next to the view.
• You can continue working: You can still view and edit the data in the table.

Tips While Using

• Lock View protects the view configuration rather than the table data itself.
• If your account does not have the required permissions, you may not be able to lock the view.

2. Unlock a view

Entry: Left-side view list → ... next to the locked view → Lock View

1. In the left-side view list, find the locked view that you want to edit.
2. Click the ... button next to that view.
3. In the pop-up menu, turn off the Lock View toggle.
4. After the toggle is turned off, the view configuration becomes editable again.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The lock indicator disappears or no longer shows a locked state.
• You can continue working: You can adjust filters, sorting, grouping, shown or hidden fields, and row height settings again.

Tips While Using

• After unlocking, collaborators can change the view structure again.
• It is a good idea to lock the view again after you finish updating it.
