1. Import or Sync Data from Documents

Entry point: Open the target multi-dimensional table → click Import/Sync Data in the lower-left area

  1. Open the target multi-dimensional table and click Import/Sync Data.
  2. In the pop-up window, select Multi-dimensional Table or Local Spreadsheet File.
  3. If you choose Multi-dimensional Table, select the table view that you want to import.
  4. If you want the data relationship to stay updated, enable data sync.
  5. If you choose Local Spreadsheet File, select the file that you want to import.
  6. Click OK to complete the import.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: New imported data appears in the target multi-dimensional table.
  • What you can do next: You can continue reviewing, editing, or filtering the imported records.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm that you selected the correct source view before importing from another multi-dimensional table.
  • Enable sync only when you need ongoing updates from the source.
  • Before importing a local file, check that the header row is clear and complete.

2. Import or Sync Data from Databases

Entry point: Open the target multi-dimensional table → click Import/Sync Data → choose Database

  1. Open the target multi-dimensional table and click Import/Sync Data.
  2. In the pop-up window, select Database.
  3. Choose a database type such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, postgreSQL, Dameng, or Oceanbase.
  4. Enter the required connection details, including port, address, username, and password.
  5. Click Add to complete the import.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Data from the database appears in the target multi-dimensional table.
  • What you can do next: You can continue organizing fields, filtering records, or collaborating with the imported data.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm that the database host, port, and account details are valid before connecting.
  • If the import fails, check the network connection and the connection details first.
  • Different database types may require different connection parameters.

3. Append Imported Data

Entry point: Table → more actions (...) → Append Import Data

  1. Find the table where you want to append imported data.
  2. Click the more actions button on the right side of the table.
  3. Click Append Import Data.
  4. Select Local Spreadsheet File or Online Spreadsheet.
  5. Select the file and click OK to complete the import.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: New data is appended to the current table while the existing data remains in place.
  • What you can do next: You can verify the new records and continue editing.

Tips While Using

  • The column names in the imported file need to match the column names in the current multi-dimensional table.
  • The import uses data from the first sheet in the file by default.
  • To improve import consistency, download the Standard Template first and prepare your data with matching columns.
