How-to Guide
1. Import or Sync Data from Documents
Entry: Open the target multidimensional table → Import/Sync Data in the lower-left corner
- Open the target multidimensional table and click Import/Sync Data in the lower-left corner.
- In the dialog, select Multidimensional Table or Local Spreadsheet File.
- If you choose Multidimensional Table, select the table view you want to import. If you want ongoing updates, enable the sync option.
- If you choose Local Spreadsheet File, select the file you want to import.
- Click OK to finish the import.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New imported records appear in the current multidimensional table.
- Next action: You can continue filtering, editing, or reviewing the imported records.
Tips While Using
- When importing from another multidimensional table, confirm that the selected view contains the data range you need.
- When importing a local file, check that the header row is clear so fields are easier to identify.
- If you need synchronization, keep the network connection stable.
2. Import or Sync Data from Databases
Entry: Open the target multidimensional table → Import/Sync Data → Database
- Open the target multidimensional table and click Import/Sync Data.
- In the dialog, choose Database.
- Select the database type you need, such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Dameng, or Oceanbase.
- Enter the port, address, username, password, and other connection details.
- Click Add to complete the import.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Database records are imported into the current multidimensional table.
- Next action: You can review records, verify fields, or continue collaboration.
Tips While Using
- Confirm that the database address, port, and account permissions are valid before connecting.
- If the network is unstable, the connection or import may take longer.
- Before importing, check whether the database fields fit the target table structure.
3. Append Imported Data
Entry: Data table → More actions (...) → Append Import Data
- Locate the data table that needs additional imported records.
- Click the More actions button (...) on the right side of the table.
- Click Append Import Data.
- Select Local Spreadsheet File or Online Spreadsheet.
- Choose the file and click OK to complete the import.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New records are appended to the existing data table.
- Next action: You can continue sorting, filtering, or checking the newly added rows.
Tips While Using
- The column names in the imported file need to match the column names in the multidimensional table.
- By default, data is imported from the first sheet in the file.
- To reduce preparation time, you can click Standard Template first and fill in data with the template structure.
