1. Create a Bitable shortcut

Entry: File Operation → Other Open Methods → Create Local Shortcut

  1. Open the target Bitable file in your browser or in WPS.
  2. Click the File Operation icon in the upper-left area to open the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Other Open Methods and then select Create Local Shortcut.
  4. Wait for WPS to generate and download the shortcut file to your Mac.
  5. Click Open Folder to view the download location.
  6. If you want to remove the newly created shortcut record from the prompt, click X. This does not change the original cloud-based Bitable file.
  7. Double-click the downloaded shortcut file to open the target Bitable file directly.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The shortcut is generated and the interface shows the folder-opening or close option.
  • Next action available: You can find the shortcut file locally and open the target Bitable file from it.
  • No unwanted change: Removing the shortcut record does not delete the original Bitable file.
