When using Add or Remove Records, the most common issues fall into 3 areas: undo limits, clear scope, and record order; this FAQ includes 3 common questions.
FAQ
Can I undo a record right after adding it?
- On iOS, there is currently no direct undo action for a newly added record in this workflow.
- If you no longer need the record, select that record first.
- Tap Delete to remove it.
Does clearing a record remove all of its content?
- Select the record you want to process.
- After you tap Clear, the clearable content in the current record is removed.
- If the record contains system auto-filled content, that part will remain.
Where is a new record inserted by default?
- When you use Add Record, the new record is appended to the end of the data table by default.
- If you need it in a specific position, use Insert Above or Insert Below instead.
- After adding it, you can also adjust the display order with sorting or grouping.
