This FAQ covers 4 common questions about undo behavior, clear scope, insert position, and the difference between clearing and deleting records.

FAQ

Can I undo a record right after adding it?

  1. If direct undo is not available on Android for the newly added record, first locate that new record.
  2. Tap the row number on the left side of the record to open the floating toolbar.
  3. Select Delete to remove the record you just added.

Does clearing a record remove all content?

  1. Select the record you want to process.
  2. Tap Clear and review the field changes in the record.
  3. If the record contains system-filled content, that part will not be cleared.

Where is a new record added by default?

  1. When you use Add Record on the bottom toolbar, the new record is appended to the end of the data table.
  2. If you need to add a record in a specific position, select an existing record first.
  3. Then use Insert Above or Insert Below for targeted placement.

What is the difference between deleting and clearing a record?

  1. Clear Record keeps the current record position and removes only clearable content.
  2. Delete Record removes the entire record.
  3. Use Delete when reorganizing table structure, and use Clear when you want to keep the record position.
