Will child records be deleted when I delete a parent record?
- Check which records are actually selected before you delete anything.
- Delete the selected parent record.
- Review the child records that were not selected.
- Those child records remain in the table and are promoted to the same level as independent records.
What happens if an intermediate record is restricted by permissions?
- Open the table that contains the parent-child hierarchy.
- Review the records that your current account can access.
- Records without permission cannot be viewed.
- Other accessible records continue to display within your permission scope.
Is Parent Record available on mobile?
- Open the related multidimensional table on your mobile device.
- Review how child records are displayed.
- Add child records or drag child records when those basic actions are available.
- Use the desktop app if you need richer hierarchy management.
Why is the Parent Record field blank?
- Confirm whether the current row is a child record.
