Why can’t I find the Date field option?

  1. Make sure you are working in a multidimensional table instead of a regular document or spreadsheet file.
  2. Check whether the + button is available on the right side of the table header.
  3. If the option is still unavailable, confirm that you have permission to edit the current table.

Can the Date field show both date and time?

  1. Right-click the date field title.
  2. Open Field Settings.
  3. Turn on Show time in the date format area.
  4. Return to the cell and review the updated display.

What is the difference between Specific date and Date when this record is added?

  1. Specific date fills every new record with the same fixed date.
  2. Date when this record is added fills the field with the date when the new record is created.
  3. If you want the value to change with each new record, use Date when this record is added.
