1. Create a Level Field
Entry path: Tap the header → Edit → Field Type → Level
- Tap the header that you want to configure.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
- In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
- Select Level.
- Set the field name, then confirm to finish creation.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a new Level field column appears in the data table.
- What you can do next: you can tap stars in that field to enter ratings.
Tips While Using
- It is helpful to name the field after the rating target so later filtering and analysis are easier.
- If the current data table cannot be edited, check file permissions or collaboration permissions first.
2. Enter a Rating
Entry path: Open the table with the Level field
- Open the data table that contains the Level field.
- Find the cell where you want to enter a rating.
- Tap the target star level directly instead of typing a number manually.
- Continue filling in other records as needed.
- If you need analysis, reference the mapped numeric value in another field or formula.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the selected star rating appears in the cell.
- What you can do next: the rating can continue to be used for filtering, sorting, or formula calculations.
Tips While Using
- The Level field uses a default 1-to-5-star scale.
- The stars map to numeric values from 1 to 5 for calculations such as SUM or AVERAGE.
- Ratings entered on mobile can stay in sync with other platforms.
