1. Create a Level Field

Entry path: the + button on the right side of the header → Field Type dropdown list → Level

  1. Click the + button on the right side of the header.
  2. In the field type list, select Level.
  3. Enter a field name.
  4. Click OK to finish creating the field.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new Level Field column appears in the table.
  • What you can do next: you can continue to open field settings and adjust the number of levels or colors.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you choose a different field type, the created column will not behave as a Level Field.
  • Environment note: you need to work in an editable Bitable.

2. Set the Number of Levels

Entry path: right-click the field title → Field SettingsNumber of Levels dropdown list

  1. Right-click the Level Field title.
  2. Select Field Settings.
  3. In the Number of Levels dropdown list, choose the quantity you need.
  4. Save the setting and return to the table to review the result.

3. Assign Colors to Levels

Entry path: right-click the field title → Field Settings → level color settings area

  1. Right-click the Level Field title and open Field Settings.
  2. Find the color setting for each level.
  3. Assign a different color to each level as needed.
  4. Return to the table and confirm the display result.
