1. Create a field
Entry point: Right side of the table header → “+” button → “Find Reference” field
- Click the “+” button on the right side of the table header.
- Select the “Find Reference” field from the field type list.
- Enter the field name.
- Click “OK” to finish creation.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Find Reference field column appears in the table.
- Next action available: You can right-click the field title and continue to field settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you choose the wrong field type, you cannot directly continue with the intended reference setup.
- Environment note: Open an editable table before starting.
2. Set field properties
Entry point: Right-click the field title → Field Settings
- Right-click the title of the field.
- Select “Field Settings.”
- In the settings panel, configure the field to reference and the lookup conditions.
- Click “OK” to save the configuration.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The field column shows the target field value from the related table based on your settings.
- Next action available: You can continue editing the settings or review the displayed result.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the linked field is not selected correctly, the displayed result may not match expectations.
