FAQ

What field types are included in Basic Fields?

  1. Open the field type entry to review the currently supported basic fields.
  2. Common types include text, number, single select, multi-select, date, contact, rich text, image and attachment, and time.
  3. Choose the field type that matches both the data content and the way you plan to manage it later.

What is the difference between basic fields and business fields?

  1. Basic fields are mainly used to store everyday data such as text, numbers, dates, and attachments.
  2. Business fields are usually more specific to certain business expressions, such as progress, percentage, or currency scenarios.
  3. If your table is mainly for general information entry, basic fields are usually the more direct choice.

Can I change a field type after it is created?

  1. Yes. Tap the field header again and open Edit and Field Type.
  2. Choose a new field type, then reset the related properties and save.
  3. Before changing the type, review existing data because some conversions may affect how earlier content fits or displays.

Why can't I upload images or attachments on Android?

  1. First, confirm that the device network connection is working normally.
  2. Check whether WPS Office has storage or file access permission.
  3. Return to the field or entry screen and try the upload again.
  4. If it still does not work, confirm that the current field is set to Image and Attachment.
