1. Add a dashboard title

Entry path: Dashboard → Title button → edit text directly

  1. Open the dashboard view that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Title button at the top.
  3. Click the input box and enter the title name.
  4. Return to the page after editing. The content is saved automatically.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the new title appears at the top of the dashboard.
  • Next action available: you can continue to change the style, alignment, or description.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you are not in a dashboard view first, the Title entry may not appear.

2. Change the title style

Entry path: Title input box → Title Style drop-down menu

  1. Click the title area to make it editable.
  2. Click the Title Style drop-down menu.
  3. Select the style you want, such as Title 1, Title 2, Title 3, or Title 4.
  4. Check the updated appearance at the top of the page.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the title size or level changes.
  • Next action available: you can continue entering text or adjust alignment.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the title area is not selected first, the style menu may not take effect.

3. Set title alignment

Entry path: Title input box → Alignment drop-down menu

  1. Click the title area.
  2. Click the Alignment drop-down menu.
  3. Select Left Align or Center Align.
  4. Check whether the title position matches your expectation.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the title switches to left alignment or center alignment.
  • Next action available: you can continue to insert an image, date, or description.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: when the window is narrow, the centered effect may be less obvious, so enlarge the window and check again.

4. Insert a title image

Entry path: Title input box → Insert Image button

  1. Click the title area.
  2. Click the Insert Image button.
  3. Click the image icon in the title input box and choose a local image file.
  4. Check whether the image appears in the title area.
  5. If needed, click Insert Image again to hide the image.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the image appears in the title area, or is hidden after clicking again.
  • Next action available: you can continue editing the title text and description.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if local file permission is not enabled, you may not be able to choose an image.
  • Environment note: access to local image files is required.

5. Insert a title date

Entry path: Title input box → Insert Date button

  1. Click the title area.
  2. Click the Insert Date button.
  3. Check whether the current date and time appear on the right side of the title bar.
  4. If needed, click Insert Date again to hide the date.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the date and time appear or disappear on the right side of the title bar.
  • Next action available: you can keep the date and continue editing other title elements.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the title area is not selected, the date button may not apply to the current title.

6. Insert a title description

Entry path: Title input box → Insert Description button

  1. Click the title area.
  2. Click the Insert Description button.
  3. Enter the description in the new input box below the title.
  4. Check whether the description appears below the title.
  5. If needed, click Insert Description again to hide the description.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the description area appears or is hidden below the title.
  • Next action available: you can continue editing the description text or keep the current content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: a long description takes more top space, so concise text is usually easier to read.
