How-to Guide
1. Add a Progress Chart component
Entry path: Dashboard → "+ Add Component" → Other → "Progress Chart"
- Open the dashboard.
- Click the "+ Add Component" button in the upper-left area.
- In the component panel, find "Progress Chart" under the "Other" category.
- Click "Progress Chart" to insert the component automatically.
- Select the new chart and enter edit mode to continue with data setup.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Progress Chart appears in the dashboard.
- Next action available: You can open the editing panel to continue with data and style settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you look in the wrong category, you may miss the entry under "Other".
- Environment note: You need to be in an editable dashboard page.
2. Edit and export a chart
Entry path: Select an existing chart → click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner
- Select the Progress Chart that has already been added to the dashboard.
- Click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner of the chart.
- Choose the action you need, such as Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete.
- If you want to continue editing the chart, choose Configure.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The drop-down menu opens and shows the available actions.
- Next action available: You can copy, export, delete, or reconfigure the chart.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the chart is not selected first, the menu may be harder to notice.
- Environment note: Before exporting or copying as an image, make sure the chart content is already updated.
3. Set chart type and data
Entry path: Progress Chart editing panel → "Type and Data" tab
- Open the editing panel for the Progress Chart.
- In Data Source, choose the table you want to use.
- In Data Range, click Data Filter and set the conditions for the data you want to display.
- In Chart Type, choose a bar, semi-ring, or ring style.
- Set the Target Value and Current Value, and select fields when needed.
- Set Sort By, Sort Order, and the fields shown in detail display according to your needs.
- Review the preview on the left and click OK to apply the settings.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The preview area on the left updates to reflect the new chart settings.
- Next action available: After you click OK, the chart displays with the selected type and data.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the target value and current value are not set appropriately, the displayed progress ratio may not match expectations.
- Environment note: A usable data source is required before fields and ranges can be configured.
4. Set chart style
Entry path: Progress Chart editing panel → "Chart Style" tab
- Open the "Chart Style" tab in the Progress Chart editing panel.
- In Theme Color, choose a preset color scheme or use more color options.
- In Number Format, set the display format and unit for values.
- In Decimal Places, choose how many decimal places to show.
- Review the preview and click OK to save the style settings.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The chart color, number format, and decimal display update according to your settings.
- Next action available: The styled chart is ready for export or dashboard display.

- Common mistake: If the number format does not match your reporting standard, the chart may be harder to interpret.
