  1. Click the Filter button in the dashboard.
  2. Select the field used for filtering, such as a date or text field.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a usable filter control appears at the top of the dashboard.
  • Next action available: you can select conditions and review chart changes.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the selected field is not appropriate, the filtered result may not reflect the target data accurately.
  • Environment note: open a file that already contains a dashboard before starting.

2. Enable cross-table linked filtering

Entry path: Dashboard → Filter button → Cross-table linkage switch

  1. Click the Filter button in the dashboard.
  2. In the filter logic settings area, turn on the cross-table linkage switch.
  3. After enabling it, select the data table field.
  4. Use the same filter condition to filter charts from different data sources at the same time.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the cross-table linkage switch is turned on.
  • Next action available: after you adjust the filter condition, related charts update together.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the chart data sources do not contain matching fields, linked filtering will not take effect.
  • Environment note: cross-table linkage depends on matching fields across different data sources.
