How-to Guide
1. Choose Manual Trigger
Entry path: upper-right area of the sheet → Automation → Create Blank Flow → trigger type selection
- Open the spreadsheet workspace where you want to configure automation.
- Click Automation in the upper-right area.
- Select Create Blank Flow.
- In the Please select a trigger condition panel, click Manual Trigger.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the flow start node shows Manual Trigger.
- Next action available: you can continue adding later automation steps.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: do not keep looking for extra trigger conditions, because Manual Trigger does not require them.
- Environment note: you need to be inside a spreadsheet page that supports automation.
2. Run a Manual Trigger Flow
Entry path: flow page in the automation editor
- Finish configuring Manual Trigger and the following steps.
- Save and enable the flow first.
- Click Run on the flow page.
- Wait for the flow to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the Run button is available and the flow starts.
- Next action available: you can run the flow again later or adjust the workflow.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if the flow is not saved and enabled first, the Run button may not be ready for normal execution.
- Environment note: keep the network connection stable while the flow is running.
3. Check Manual Trigger Logs
Entry path: left side of the automation editor → Logs
- Open the automation flow that uses Manual Trigger.
- Click Logs on the left side.
- Review the current or past execution records.
- Confirm whether the flow finished successfully based on the result shown.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the log panel shows execution records and results.
- Next action available: you can troubleshoot the flow or run it again.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you just ran the flow, refresh or wait briefly before checking for the newest record.
