How-to Guide
1. Select the action
Entry path: Select an Action panel → Multidimensional Table → Find Content
- Open the automation editor and go to Step 2, the Select an Action panel.
- Under the Multidimensional Table category, click Find Content.
- After selecting it, check whether the Configure Parameters area appears on the right.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the right panel shows the parameter settings for this action.
- Next step available: you can continue to choose a table, search scope, and search fields.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you do not open the Multidimensional Table category first, Find Content may be harder to locate.
- Environment note: you must enter the automation editor before adding this action.
2. Configure parameters
Entry path: Configure Parameters panel
- In the Select the table containing the records dropdown, choose the target table.
- In the Set search scope dropdown, choose a scope such as all records, records that meet conditions, or the record triggered in Step 1.
- In the Select content to find dropdown, choose the fields to search, and select at least one field.
- In the When no content is found area, choose how the flow should respond: continue, or stop the current branch and continue other branches.
- Click Save and Enable to finish the setup.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: all required parameters are selected and the save action is available.
- Next step available: the flow can be enabled and the lookup result can be used in later steps.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if no search field is selected, the setup cannot be saved.
- Environment note: you need access permission for the target table.
- Flow logic note: choosing Stop only stops the current branch and does not affect other branches.
