FAQ

Why can’t I find the Recent Changes entry?

  1. Make sure you opened a spreadsheet file instead of a Writer or Presentation file.
  2. Check whether the Collaboration tab is visible, or look for Recent Changes in the File menu.
  3. If the entry still does not appear, update WPS Office for Mac and try again.

Why should I select a cell before checking recent changes?

  1. Selecting the target cell or range makes the result more focused.
  2. If no target is selected, the result may default to a broader scope.
  3. For data troubleshooting, selecting the target cell first is usually more efficient.

Why are some older change records missing?

  1. Recent Changes is designed for reviewing recent edit records.
  2. When records are older than the available retention range, they may no longer appear.
  3. It is a good idea to review the relevant time range as soon as you notice an issue.

How can I locate one specific edit faster?

  1. Open the Change Tracking pane from the File menu.
  2. Narrow the list by worksheet, time, or action type.
  3. Click the target record to jump directly to the related cell.
