Entry path: bottom toolbar Tools tab → Recalculate

  1. Open a spreadsheet file that contains formulas.
  2. Tap the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Recalculate.
  4. Check whether all formula results in the current worksheet have refreshed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: formula results in the current worksheet are refreshed.
  • Next actions available: you can continue editing data, checking results, saving, or sharing the file.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the result still does not change, first check whether the edited cells are actually referenced by the formula.
  • Environment note: if a cell is set to text format, the formula result may not update as expected. Change the cell to a general or numeric format and recalculate again.
