1. Enter Reading Mode

Entry: Editing interface → Done button at the top left

  1. Open a smart spreadsheet and enter the editing interface.
  2. Tap the Done button at the top left.
  3. The app switches to Reading Mode automatically.
  4. After the switch, the editing toolbar is hidden and the interface becomes a viewing layout.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the editing toolbar is hidden.
  • Next action available: the lower-right toolbar is still available for related actions.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you are still in the editing interface, make sure you tapped the Done button at the top left.
  • Environment note: open a smart spreadsheet and enter the editing interface first.

2. Use Tools in Reading Mode

Entry: Reading Mode → lower-right toolbar

  1. In Reading Mode, tap the lower-right toolbar.
  2. Select Edit to return to Edit Mode.
  3. Select Landscape Reading to switch to landscape viewing.
  4. Select Find to start find and replace.
  5. Select Settings to use features such as filter, find and replace, card mode, and change history.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the lower-right toolbar opens and shows the related entries.
  • Next action available: you can continue with landscape viewing, find, or settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: you cannot edit cell content directly in Reading Mode. Return to Edit Mode first if you need to make changes.

3. Return to Edit Mode

Entry: Reading Mode → lower-right toolbar → Edit

  1. Keep the document in Reading Mode.
  2. Tap the lower-right toolbar.
  3. Tap Edit.
  4. After you return to the editing interface, continue modifying the spreadsheet.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the editing toolbar appears again.
  • Next action available: you can continue entering, revising, or adjusting spreadsheet content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you only need to review content, you do not need to switch back to Edit Mode, which helps avoid accidental changes.
