1. Quickly Insert Rows/Columns
Entry: Floating row/column menu → Insert Rows/Columns
- Select the position where you want to insert rows or columns to open the floating menu.
- Tap Insert Rows/Columns.
- WPS adds rows or columns based on the number of rows or columns currently selected.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New rows or columns appear in the table.
- What you can do next: You can continue entering content, formatting cells, or adjusting the structure again.
Tips While Using
- The number inserted depends on how many rows or columns are selected.

2. Insert Rows/Columns from the Insert Tab
Entry: Insert tab → Insert Rows and Columns
- Select the position where you want to insert rows or columns.
- Tap the Insert tab at the bottom.
- Tap Insert Rows and Columns.
- Choose one of the following options as needed:
- Insert X Rows Upward
- Insert X Rows Downward
- Insert X Columns to the Left
- Insert X Columns to the Right
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New rows or columns are inserted in the selected direction.

3. Delete Rows/Columns
Entry: Floating row/column menu → Delete Row / Delete Column
- Select the entire row or column that you want to remove.
- Open the floating row/column menu.
- Tap Delete Row or Delete Column as needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected row or column is removed from the table.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing the remaining table or use Undo.
Tips While Using
- Check the selection before deleting to avoid removing nearby content by mistake.
