1. Insert a Comment

Entry point: Select a cell → floating edit bar → Comment, or Select a cell → Insert → Comment

  1. Open your Smart Spreadsheet and tap the cell where you want to add a comment.
  2. Use either of these entry points to open the comment input panel:
    • Tap Comment on the floating edit bar.
    • Tap the Insert tab at the bottom, then tap Comment.
  3. Type your comment in the input box.
  4. Tap Send to add the comment.
  5. Check whether a red corner marker appears on the target cell.

Success Criteria

  • A red corner marker appears on the target cell.
  • Tapping the same cell opens the comment panel again.
  • The new comment appears in the comment list.

Tips While Using

  • Comments support text only and do not support images or attachments.
  • Select the target cell first so the correct comment entry is easier to find.

2. Manage Comments

Entry point: Tap a cell that already has a comment

  1. Tap the cell with the red corner marker to open the comment panel.
  2. Check the total number of comments for the current worksheet at the top of the panel, and switch between comments if needed.
  3. Review the commenter, comment time, and comment content for each item.
  4. To continue the discussion, type more text in the input box and tap Send.
  5. Press and hold an existing comment, then choose Edit or Delete as needed.

Success Criteria

  • The comment panel opens and existing comments are visible.
  • You can add another comment or edit or delete an existing one.
  • Multiple comments in the same cell are shown in time order.

Tips While Using

  • Only cells with a red corner marker already contain comments.
  • One cell can contain multiple comments, which is useful for ongoing discussion.
