1. Use Find and Replace in editing mode

Entry: Open a spreadsheet in editing mode → tap Find and Replace at the bottom

  1. Open the spreadsheet and switch to editing mode.
  2. Tap Find and Replace at the bottom to open the search and replacement area at the top.
  3. Enter a keyword in the Find box to search matching data.
  4. If you want to replace content, enter the new text in the replacement box.
  5. Choose Replace or Replace All as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The search and replacement area appears at the top and matching results are shown.
  • Next action available: You can continue to the next match, replace one result, or replace all results.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Before using Replace All, confirm that the keyword is correct.

2. Quickly find content in reading mode

Entry: Open a spreadsheet in reading mode → tap Find at the lower right

  1. Open the spreadsheet and stay in reading mode.
  2. Tap Find at the lower right of the screen.
  3. Enter the keyword you want to search for.
  4. Review the results and jump to the matching location.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Search results appear and the matching content can be located.
  • Next action available: You can continue browsing matches or switch to editing mode to make changes.

3. Adjust Find and Replace settings

Entry: Open the Find and Replace page → tap Settings

  1. Open the Find and Replace page first.
  2. Tap Settings on the right to open the settings menu.
  3. Set the scope to the current worksheet or all worksheets in the document as needed.
  4. Choose search by row or search by column.
  5. Turn options on or off as needed, including formulas, case sensitivity, full-width and half-width characters, and cell matching.
