1. Turn Filter On or Off

Entry: bottom toolbar → Filter

1. Select the rows, columns, or cell range you want to filter, usually a table range with a header row.
2. Tap Filter in the bottom toolbar.
3. Check whether filter drop-down arrows appear next to each column header.
4. To turn filtering off, tap Filter again.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: after turning it on, filter arrows appear next to column headers; after turning it off, the arrows disappear.
• What you can do next: you can tap any column header arrow to set filter conditions.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: if you do not select the table range first, the filter range may not match your expectation.

2. In the filter menu, choose By Content or By Color.

4. To find a target value quickly, enter a keyword in the search box.
5. Turn Visible to everyone on or off as needed to switch between a shared filter and a personal filter.
