How-to Guide

1. Add Comments

Entry path: In table view, tap the record row marker → Floating toolbar → Comments tab

  1. Open the smart spreadsheet data table and find the record where you want to add a comment.
  2. Tap the row marker for that record to open the floating toolbar.
  3. In the floating toolbar, tap the Comments tab to open the comment panel.
  4. Enter your comment in the input box.
  5. Tap Send to post the comment.
  6. After posting, confirm that a light green comment icon appears to the right of the row number.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The new comment appears in the comment panel.
  • Next action available: A comment indicator appears next to the related record, and you can open the panel again to review it.

Tips While Using

  • Comments are attached to the current record, so make sure you selected the correct record before posting.
  • Posted comments cannot be edited again. If you need to change the content, delete the comment and add a new one.

2. Manage Comments

Entry path: In table view, tap the record row marker → Floating toolbar → Comments tab

  1. Open the smart spreadsheet data table and find the record whose comments you want to manage.
  2. Tap the row marker for that record to open the floating toolbar.
  3. In the floating toolbar, tap the Comments tab to enter the comment panel.
  4. Check the total number of comments shown at the top of the panel.
  5. Browse comments in reverse chronological order, and swipe upward to view earlier comments.
  6. Tap the ... icon to the right of a comment and delete it when needed.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The panel shows the total number of comments and the comment history for that record.
  • Next action available: You can continue browsing, return to the record, or delete a selected comment.

Tips While Using

  • Comment history is kept in time order, so older comments may require scrolling.
  • Only members with access to the related record can view its comments.
