How-to Guide
1. Edit Chart Elements
Entry point: Click the chart → Chart Elements
- Click to select the inserted chart.
- Select Chart Elements.
- In the Chart Elements dialog, select or clear items such as chart title, axes, and data labels.
- If needed, continue in Quick Layout to switch to a different overall layout.
Success Criteria
- UI state: Chart titles, axes, data labels, and similar elements are shown or hidden based on your settings.
- Next actions: You can continue adjusting styles, properties, or chart type.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If the chart is not selected first, the related entry may not appear.

2. Change Chart Styles
Entry point: Click the chart → Chart Style
- Click to select the inserted chart.
- Select Chart Style.
- In the Style dialog, click a preset style to apply it to the current chart.
- In the Color dialog, switch chart color schemes and review the result.

3. Modify Chart Properties
Entry point: Double-click the chart / click the chart → Edit Chart
- Double-click the chart, or click the chart and select Edit Chart to open the properties panel.
- In Data and Series, adjust the data range, horizontal axis categories, or series content.
- In chart element style areas, adjust color, font, title, axis title, horizontal and vertical axes, or data labels.
- Review the live preview and confirm the result.

- UI state: The chart data range, series, or style settings are updated.

- Common mistakes: If headers or key columns are left out when changing the data range, the chart may display incorrectly.
4. Change Chart Type
Entry point: Click the chart → Change Chart Type
- Select the chart you want to modify.
- Right-click the chart area and choose Change Type.
- In the pop-up panel, select a new chart type.
- Click OK to switch the chart to the new type while keeping the original data.

5. Save as Picture
Entry point: Right-click the chart → Save as Picture
- Right-click the chart you want to save as an image.
- Choose Save as Picture from the menu.

- Click Save to store the chart image locally.
