1. Open Modify Tracking and filter records
Entry: Top menu bar in Smart Spreadsheet → More → Modify Tracking
- Open a Smart Spreadsheet and select the cell or range whose edit records you want to review.
- Tap the More icon (☰) in the top menu bar to open the drop-down list.
- Tap Modify Tracking.
- Review the recent edit records and the available filter cards.
- Switch filters as needed:
- Time range: Today / Within 3 days / Within 7 days
- Worksheet scope: All worksheets / Current worksheet
- Operation scope: All operations / Deleted operations / Filled or modified operations
- Tap View Details to review the cell action, editor, and changed content, then copy the changed content if needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can see the edit record list and filter options for the selected cell or range.
- Next action available: You can switch filters and open details for a specific record.
- No side effect: The spreadsheet content itself is not changed by viewing records.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not select a cell or range first, the result may not match what you expect.
- Environment note: Collaboration records are easier to review when the document already contains edits and the network connection is stable.
- Scope note: Modify Tracking is different from version history. It is more suitable for reviewing changes in a selected cell or range.
