1. Create a Data Table
Entry: Top data table tab bar → “+” (Add)
- Open the smart spreadsheet that you want to edit.
- Tap the “+” button on the right side of the data table tab bar at the top of the screen.
- In the pop-up menu, select “Data Table.”
- A new data table is added to the current smart spreadsheet.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a new data table tab appears in the top tab bar.
- What you can do next: you can continue entering fields and records in the new table.
Tips While Using
- Make sure the current file is editable.
- In a collaborative file, it helps to confirm the table name and purpose before adding it.
2. Delete a Data Table
Entry: Tap a data table tab → “Delete”
- Open the smart spreadsheet that you want to edit.
- Tap the data table tab that you want to remove to open the floating menu bar.
- Select “Delete” in the floating menu bar.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. The data table is then removed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the deleted data table tab no longer appears.
- What you can do next: you can switch to another data table and continue editing.
Tips While Using
- Deleting a data table also removes its field settings and data records.
- This action cannot be undone directly, so confirm before deleting.
- Only users with editing permission can delete a data table.
